Library Card

Get a UW Libraries Borrower's Card to check out items

  • Institutional ID card required, along with library login screen at your home institution showing current status.
  • Check Your Library Account to see when your account will expire. Renew your account with Library Account Services.

    Loans

    300 item limit, generally with a 4 week checkout period; varies among libraries and material type

    Your Library Account

    • Library Account Services will issue you a guest UW NetID to login
    • You should regularly check your online account, as you are responsible for all items checked out to it and fines will accrue on overdue items.
    • Most UW-owned materials can be renewed indefinitely unless/until they are requested by someone else or the account expires.

    Access Databases, E-Journals, E-Books, etc. from Off-Campus?
