Computers: Guest Research Stations

Access to most Libraries' licensed, online resources and fee-based printing is available in all University libraries.

Provides access to:

  • Most online resources which can be found on the UW Libraries Web site
  • All Web sites with .edu, .gov, .org, .mil, or .museum extensions
  • Read-only versions of the Microsoft Office suite of software:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. (e.g., documents in these programs may be read but not created or edited).

Software/hardware details

    Restrictions: There is no access to anonymous email sites, such as Hotmail, Yahoo! mail, or to most .com Web sites.
