Support UW Libraries
You can be the Catalyst
Catalyst Fund for Innovation
The UW community is relying on the Libraries more than ever during these difficult times. Although our buildings are closed, we have enhanced our online learning services and collection resources. Your support helps ensure that we can continue to meet evolving information, study, and research needs of UW students and faculty.
The Catalyst Fund of Innovation Funds UW Libraries’ immediate needs to fuel innovation that accelerates student success, teaching, and research for the public good.
Tateuchi East Asia Library Renovation
Libraries services and users have changed in the 50 years since the Tateuchi East Asia Library moved into Gowen Hall. While retaining the traditional architectural setting, our renovation plans will add more spaces for quiet study, collaborative research, public presentations, and in-demand services to help students succeed. A stunning virtual-walkthrough of the architectural renderings reflect planned renovations to improve the student experience. To learn how you can help, contact Sheryl Stiefel, (sstiefel@uw.edu | 206-685-1973) Assistant Dean for Libraries Advancement.
