Library Card

Use your Cascadia Employee ID Card to check out items

  • Your library account should be automatically activated 1-2 business days after your appointment in the Cascadia payroll system begins.
  • Visit the Campus Library to link your Cascadia Employee ID Card with your library account.
  • Your library account expires two weeks into the second consecutive quarter in which you are not employed. For official retirees and emeritus, your account will continue indefinitely. Contact Library Account Services if you have questions about your specific expiration date.

    300 item limit, generally with a 12 week checkout period

    Your Library Account

      • Set up your UW NetID
      • You should regularly check your online account, as you are responsible for all items checked out to it and fines will accrue on overdue items.
      • Most UW-owned materials can be renewed indefinitely unless/until they are requested by someone else or the account expires.

        • Interlibrary Loan
          Current Cascadia faculty and staff are eligible to obtain books and articles that the UW does not own for a fee.
        Activation/Expiration of Online Services
        (excluding Your Library Account/ Borrowing Privileges)
        • Set up your UW NetID and use it to log in
        • Access will expire with termination of employment. For official retirees and emeritus, access will continue indefinitely.
